Theo Randall at the Intercontinental

Me and my friends love a good deal. So when hunting for somewhere to eat, we’re always on the lookout. My friend found a early dinner deal at Theo Randall’s restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel (aptly named Theo Randall at the Intercontinental) which was £27 for 2 courses or £33 for 3 courses, including a glass of bubbly – great value especially for a michelin starred restaurant. To begin, we were given complimentary bread to accompany our drinks. To start I had the seafood risotto which was delicious! Flavoursome and rich and my favourite dish of the evening. My friend went for the same and the other had the crab salad to start instead, opting for the risotto for her main (I wish I had done the same on hindsight!). With her having the risotto as a main, me and my other friend decided to get the guinea fowl which was good but I found it to be quite salty for my taste. To round off the evening, we decided to share some desserts – lemon tart, chocolate cake and affogato – before an evening stroll in Hyde Park.
