Newman Street Tavern is a British all day brasserie on Newman Street in Fitzrovia. My sister and I visited with a family friend of ours and when deciding where to meet, agreed this would be the perfect venue for brunch and a catch up. They serve modern British food with a with a focus on seasonal produce so the menu is always changing. Spanning two floors, we sat downstairs opposite the bar before ordering some drinks and food. Being brunch, a latte was the drink of choice, accompanied by cuttlefish with ramson and preserved lemon. It was cooked beautifully; the cuttlefish was tender and sweet with a tangy acidity from the lemon. Yum
